## Synopsis

Navillera (2021) is a South Korean drama miniseries created for tvN and produced by Studio Dragon and The Great Show. Across twelve episodes of roughly an hour each, seventy-year-old Sim Deok-chul (Park In-hwan) decides at an age when most people have stopped dreaming that he will become a ballet dancer. His path crosses with Lee Chae-rok (Song Kang), a talented young dancer whose own life is pressed by harsh circumstances, and the two begin to lift each other out of their difficulties. The series moves between dance studio practice, the strained rhythms of family homes, and the small daily struggles of ordinary Korean life. Its engine is the question of whether a late attempt at a long-deferred dream can still matter, and each episode builds from training setbacks, family friction and quiet breakthroughs. Co-stars Na Moon-hee and Kim Soo-jin add domestic weight to the story. The tone is warm, sincere and hopeful, with a gentle sense of renewal rather than spectacle. Fans of Shall We Dance and Mr. Sunshine will find a similar appetite for earnest, uplifting human stories built around late-blooming passion.
