## Synopsis

Taxi Driver (2021-2026) is a South Korean action crime drama series created by Lee Ok-gyu for SBS, adapted from a webtoon. Lee Je-hoon plays Kim Do-ki, a former special forces soldier who works for a secret organization disguised as a taxi company and delivers revenge for victims whom the law fails. Esom plays Kang Ha-na, and Kim Eui-sung plays Jang Sung-cheol, both entangled in the organization's operations. Each episode typically follows a new client's grievance, from a corrupt businessman to a predator who escaped punishment, with the crew tracking targets through investigation and staging disguises before the vengeance lands. The show runs across three seasons and forty-eight episodes, structured as a sequence of self-contained cases that accumulate into a larger arc around the organization. Its tone is brisk, visceral and cathartic, mixing righteous anger with moments of dark humor and camaraderie. The setting is contemporary urban Seoul, where the crew's taxi moves through a city of smooth, money-driven power. Fans of The Equalizer and Vigilante will find resonance in its revenge-driven storytelling and morally charged anti hero.
