## Synopsis

Law School (2021) is a South Korean miniseries created by Seo In and Kim Sok-yun for JTBC. Following the murder of a professor at the country's top prestigious law school, the story turns the faculty and student body into a web of suspects. Yang Jong-hoon (Kim Myung-min) and Han Joon-hwi (Kim Bum) anchor the drama, with Kang Sol-a (Ryu Hye-young) and Kim Eun-sook (Lee Jung-eun) among the principal figures whose loyalties and secrets surface as the case tightens. The engine is the question of who is lying, and each episode peels back another layer through student trials and academic rivalries that reveal how much is connected to the central crime. Across a single sixteen-episode season of roughly sixty-five minutes each, the show moves between past and present threads that blur memory and testimony. The tone is tense and cerebral, with a wary, intimate atmosphere of ambition and suspicion inside elite institutional walls. Fans of Suits, The Good Wife and Stove League will find resonance in its legal machinery, courtroom intrigue and portrait of cutthroat professional competition, though its slow burn and dense plotting make it demanding for viewers who want quick payoffs.
