## Synopsis

Wheeler Dealers (2003-present) is a British-American reality car restoration series broadcast across Velocity, Discovery Real Time, Discovery and MotorTrend. Presenter Mike Brewer, joined over the years by co-presenters Edd China and Ant Anstead, hunts for neglected classic and collectible cars with real money-making potential. Each car is handed to a skilled mechanic who must rebuild it, from bare metal respraying to gearbox swaps, before it is sold for a profit from the LA-based workshop. The engine of each episode is the gamble: a dealer's eye for value against the cost of repairs and the clock of the sale. Across twenty-four seasons and hundreds of episodes it runs as an easygoing, case-by-case format rather than one continuing story, so a viewer can dip in anywhere. The mood is upbeat and practical, with friendly banter, satisfying transformations and a warm respect for craftsmanship. Fans of Top Gear, Car SOS and other hands-on motoring shows will find the same mix of car talk and workshop problem solving.
