## Synopsis

SPY x FAMILY (2022-present) is a Japanese anime series produced by WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks and aired on TV Tokyo and its affiliated networks. Based on the manga, it follows Loid Forger (voiced by Takuya Eguchi), a spy who needs a family for a secret mission, and assassin Yor Forger (voiced by Saori Hayami) and telepath Anya Forger (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki) who each join his cover household without knowing the others' real identities. Each episode is built from small domestic scenes, such as school events, parent meetings and awkward dinners, where the adults juggle schemes and the child reads their thoughts. Narration by Kenichirou Matsuda frames the story with a light touch. The tone is warm and funny, with breezy slice of life moments giving way to tense espionage beats. Fans of Chuck, Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Gintama will find resonance in its mix of secret identities, comic misunderstanding and sincere family feeling. The show is set in a fictional European city during the Cold War era, with the characters' lives unfolding across its streets and schools.
