## Synopsis

Until Life Do Us Part (2021) is a Portuguese family drama miniseries created by Tiago R. Santos, Hugo Gonçalves and João Tordo for RTP1. Across eight episodes of roughly forty minutes, three generations of the Almeida family live together in an idyllic villa while running a wedding planning business. Raul Almeida (Tobias Monteiro) and Sandra Filipa (Ana Cloe) are among the principal figures whose professional polish clashes with private troubles, while Vanessa (Rita Loureiro), Daniel (Dinarte Branco), Rita (Madalena Almeida) and Luísa (Henriqueta Maia) carry the household's emotional weight. The engine of the series is the tension between staging perfect celebrations for strangers and holding together a family whose cracks widen with every booking. Each episode follows the couple's preparations and the domestic fallout that spills into them, building toward a single continuing story told in one limited run. The tone is intimate and melodramatic, with wry moments of humor softening sharper family confrontations and quieter scenes of grief and longing. Its setting is a sunlit Portuguese villa where the glamour of weddings contrasts with the mess of everyday life. Viewers who enjoy Big Little Lies and Dark Money will find a similar appetite for glossy surfaces hiding domestic unrest, and the show offers a concise, character-driven watch for anyone drawn to European family melodrama.
