What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Jane's skepticism gradually gives way to belief as Captain Hook's abduction places her in danger in Never Land.
The story begins with Jane and Wendy living through 1940 air raids before Jane is drawn into Never Land.
Wendy is now a mother, while her daughter Jane becomes the new child protagonist and Captain Hook again targets Peter Pan.
Air-raid darkness and trench coats frame the transition to the bright, perilous, pirate-filled world of Never Land.
