What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The filmmakers return to West Memphis to follow the Three, the exoneration movement, and newly contested evidence.
The film examines questionable evidence, community prejudice, legal mistakes, and efforts to exonerate the convicted men.
New evidence and John Mark Byers's conduct complicate the established account without providing a simple resolution.
The case is presented against a prejudiced West Memphis community and its treatment of nonconformist teenagers.
