What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Alice is the central combatant, repeatedly leading armed resistance against Umbrella forces and undead creatures.
The Umbrella Corporation and its experiments create the apocalypse, mutants, and the film's central institutional threat.
The opening action sequences are built around extremely rapid edits and chaotic staging, a recurring feature of the film's presentation.
Alice must go back to The Hive in Raccoon City, where the nightmare began, for the final confrontation.
