What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Mina and three strangers must remain inside a shelter each night while mysterious creatures watch them through its window.
The film places shapeshifting creatures and changeling mythology within the forests of western Ireland.
The immaculate forest shelter offers temporary protection, but its walls, viewing window, and nightly rules govern survival.
Mina’s personal history and the film’s shapeshifting and mimic motifs connect survival horror to questions of identity.
