What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The central love triangle between twin brothers and Penelope motivates the investigation and escalating danger.
The isolated Greek island, fatal desire, detective investigation, and noir classification create a contemporary neo-noir register.
Nick Bali is explicitly known as “The Jealousy Man,” a wounded detective assigned to investigate the case.
The murder mystery uses red herrings and over-the-top twists to redirect attention among the twins, Penelope, and their associates.
