What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Bill and Ted use Valley-style speech, superlatives, and deliberate misunderstandings while interacting with figures such as Socrates, Napoleon, and Joan of Arc.
The boys must assemble a successful history presentation, motivating their journey through time to collect historical figures.
Bill and Ted’s need to remain together is tied directly to their futures, their band, and the survival of the society they will eventually shape.
Historical figures including Napoleon, Billy the Kid, and Socrates are removed from their original contexts and brought into a contemporary teen comedy.
