What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Bailey navigates neglect, family instability, sexuality, and the loss of childhood innocence while seeking experiences beyond home.
Bailey’s grounded life in a Kent squat and fields intersects with the enigmatic Bird and a deliberately uncertain magical dimension.
The family lives in a squat in northern Kent, with Bug unable to provide consistent attention and stability for his children.
Bailey’s father raises the children alone but has little time for them, driving her toward outsiders and risky forms of attention.
