What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film contrasts the symbol's Indian religious history with Hitler's racial and political ideology.
Its central question concerns how political and racial ideology is communicated through a symbol.
The film challenges the assumption that the symbol is inherently or originally associated with Nazism by emphasizing its Indian name and religious uses.
The premise repeatedly asks whether the Nazi emblem should properly be called a swastika, making inquiry the organizing structure.
