What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Snow Queen adaptation mirrors Jeanne's fascination with Cristina and the Queen she portrays.
Jeanne's fixation on Cristina is shaped by the actress's Snow Queen persona and her own vulnerable orphanhood.
The plot interweaves Jeanne's encounter with Cristina and the production of The Snow Queen.
The Snow Queen imagery, snowbound setting, and mysterious actress establish a visually austere spell.
