What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Lamont Cranston investigates through his sponsored daily radio program, managing editor, broadcast revelations, and contacts across the city.
Rod La Rocque plays Lamont Cranston, explicitly identified in the cast as The Shadow, combining public broadcasting with covert investigation.
The expected Metropolitan Theatre robbery never occurs while a safe is blown at banker Gerald Morton's home and the death proves more than an accidental robbery killing.
