What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
A morally strict judge is forced to navigate a pregnancy linked to a murder suspect, turning legal authority into a source of comic disarray.
Ariane’s judicial role and strict moral code conflict directly with her unexpected pregnancy and its connection to a wanted criminal.
Ariane’s pregnancy by Bob Nolan creates an involuntary relationship between a judge and a man wanted for murder.
The film’s compressed comic premise and Albert Dupontel’s absurdist style foreground bodily awkwardness and exaggerated encounters.
