What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Vikram plays Ambi, the romantic model Remo, and the punitive vigilante Anniyan as separate aspects of one mind.
The vigilante punishes rule-breaking and social apathy while songs, stunts, and elaborate production design amplify the reformist message.
Ambi becomes the flamboyant supermodel Remo in an attempt to win Nandini after she rejects his meek, rule-bound personality.
Critics specifically praised the colorful song picturization, striking camera work, stunts, locations, and technical wizardry.
