What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The plot centers on alien races, candidate selection, and interstellar conflict while the character names and situations play genre conventions for comedy.
The short Finnish production uses animation as a homemade, unconventional vehicle for science-fiction parody rather than polished mainstream spectacle.
The Plingons, Turengi, and Earthlings compete as three candidate civilizations seeking the advanced aliens' support.
An evolved alien race surveys this part of the universe and chooses among three candidate peoples for an alliance.
