What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The connections among Francis, Christina, Thomas, and Harold emerge piece by piece rather than through immediate exposition.
Christina's striptease performances at Exotica turn erotic display into a ritual shaped by spectatorship and control.
Francis's trauma resurfaces through obsessive routines, surveillance, and his interactions with Christina.
Club spaces, the pet shop, and domestic interiors are connected through deliberate camera movements and isolating compositions.
