What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Necchi, Perozzi, Melandri, Mascetti, and later Sassaroli repeatedly gather for elaborate jokes and aimless Tuscan excursions.
The friends organize complex, often cruel jokes against people they encounter, making practical mischief the film's central comic engine.
The friends' exuberant escapades coexist with Mascetti's broken status, unstable romance, and the underlying poignancy of long-lived companionship.
The group lives in Florence and repeatedly wanders through Tuscany while turning local social encounters into comic targets.
