What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Zhong Wen, his daughter, and strangers are trapped inside a bar controlled by an armed captor.
The hostage setting channels martial arts confrontations through the bar's limited spaces.
Police officer Zhong Wen's troubled relationship with his wayward daughter Miao Miao is central to the hostage ordeal.
Wu Jiang's demand for a prisoner's release makes the hostage situation more complicated than a straightforward police standoff.
