What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Keinohrhase is rejected by rabbits and a fox because he has no ears, then seeks companionship when an egg arrives at his door.
The rabbit, fox, chick, bear, and other animals speak and behave as social characters in an animal-centered setting.
An egg rolling to Keinohrhase’s front door triggers his encounter with the two-eared chick and drives the friendship plot.
The protagonist’s unusual appearance and the animals’ discrimination frame the film as a simple fable about inclusion.
