What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Lucy Muir develops a profound bond with the deceased Captain Daniel Gregg while continuing to navigate life among the living.
Lucy leaves her controlling in-laws, rents the haunted Gull Cottage, and insists on directing her life despite social expectations.
Gull Cottage at Whitecliff-by-the-Sea shelters Lucy and becomes the central meeting place for her relationship with Daniel.
Captain Gregg's confrontational sailor persona produces humorous domestic exchanges while preserving the film's romantic haunting.
