What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Jim wakes in an abandoned hospital and crosses deserted London streets before encountering the infected.
The film contrasts infected rage with violent behavior by supposedly organized survivors and soldiers.
The Rage virus produces aggressive, rapidly moving infected people who transform pursuit scenes into frantic survival set pieces.
The epidemic's collapse of London and the survivors' competing responses support the film's political and social allegory.
