What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film presents the first Gantz story from an investigative journalist’s perspective rather than simply repeating the original viewpoint.
The plot deepens the mystery of the Gantz world through secrets about Kurono, Kato, and other characters.
Kurono and Kato’s childhood histories are explicitly revisited as part of the film’s investigation.
