What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Dr. David Krane uses an experimental drug to borrow memories while investigating his wife's murder.
Krane's search for the killer is fueled by the brutal death of his wife and his inability to accept the gaps in his memory.
Transferred memories and painful recollections complicate the medical examiner's effort to reconstruct the crime.
Critics repeatedly described the film as a far-fetched, gimmicky thriller crossing crime investigation with mad-scientist material.
