What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Akikazu's search moves between present pursuit and disjointed revelations about Kanako's past, with testimony from multiple characters reshaping the case.
Rapid cuts and intense imagery turn violence, drugs, and adolescent chaos into a visually overwhelming experience.
Akikazu's pursuit is driven by his dream of restoring a perfect family despite his own abusive behavior and estrangement from Kanako.
Kanako's perfect-student image gives way to contradictory stories involving drugs, bullying, criminal connections, and hidden relationships.
