What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Torrente's crooked-cop persona and the film's parody-driven criminal situations rely on deliberately crude and politically incorrect humor.
Torrente is explicitly a crooked police officer and antihero whose return from prison drives the story.
The plot places a robbery and casino operation in Spain in 2018, shortly ahead of the film's release.
The fifth Torrente film continues Santiago Segura's recurring character through an intentionally exaggerated action-comedy format.
