What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The film re-creates Sophie Scholl's final six days from historical records, including her arrest, interrogation, trial, and sentencing.
Sophie maintains her anti-Nazi convictions while facing Gestapo interrogation and a politically controlled court.
Much of the conflict unfolds through searing cross-examinations between Sophie and Gestapo officer Robert Mohr.
The White Rose resistance and Sophie's passionate call for freedom and personal responsibility define the film's historical perspective.
