What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The Green Planet's inhabitants preserve their natural environment and reject the destructive habits associated with Earth.
Mila travels from the Green Planet to Earth, allowing familiar human behavior to appear strange, polluted, and dangerous.
Earth is rejected as too polluted and dangerous, while the film contrasts it with a simpler, environmentally protective civilization.
Mila volunteers for the Earth mission to investigate her identity and her connection to the planet through her father.
