What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Bhoothnath's return from the ghost world leads him, alongside Akhrot, into opposition to the corrupt politician Bhau.
Slum child Akhrot is the only person able to see Bhoothnath, and their mutual-help friendship drives the wider struggle against injustice.
The approaching Lok Sabha election and Bhau's apparently inevitable victory provide the film's central satirical framework.
After being mocked by other ghosts for having been bullied by a child, Bhoothnath pursues redemption by standing against a powerful politician.
