What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Inspector Tellini follows interconnected victims and suspects linked to a spa as the killer eliminates potential leads.
Victims are paralyzed and their bellies ripped open with a knife in a recurring tarantula-inspired method.
The murders imitate how black wasps kill tarantulas, making the tarantula image central to the plot's symbolism.
Tellini narrows the investigation to a spa connected to all of the victims.
