What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Nick and Brooke meet after Brooke misses her train and spend the night navigating New York together before her next chance to leave.
The central pairing begins as an accidental encounter and gradually shares personal truths about love, betrayal, money, and commitment.
The characters move through Manhattan while trying to solve Brooke's travel crisis, turning the city into the setting for their growing connection.
Brooke's urgency to return home and the film's explicit infidelity premise place marital betrayal behind the protagonists' overnight emotional reckoning.
