What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Thor's apocalyptic mission is repeatedly undercut by deadpan banter, absurd encounters, and Jeff Goldblum's flamboyant Grandmaster.
Sakaar's gladiatorial world, colorful production design, and 1980s-inspired presentation give the film a distinctive visual identity.
Hela's return exposes Asgard's violent imperial history while Ragnarok threatens the civilization Thor is expected to preserve.
