What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Wang Li's decision to protect Sha Gen turns the thieves' journey into a test of whether criminal lives can be redirected toward sacrifice and care.
The rural train confines Wang Bo, Wang Li, Sha Gen, Uncle Bill, and rival thieves together while competing theft schemes intensify.
Sha Gen's trust, spirituality, and faith in strangers challenge the cynicism of professional thieves and influence Wang Li's protective mission.
The film combines train-set suspense, choreographed confrontations, and martial-arts-inflected criminal contests within a polished popular-cinema register.
