What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Woody confronts what it means to be a toy when his bond with Bonnie and his established role no longer provide the same direction.
Bonnie's family road trip becomes the setting for Woody's unexpected reunion with Bo Peep and his reassessment of his life.
The carnival provides the film's central environment for rescue missions, toy communities, and encounters among separated characters.
Forky's creation as a craft project and his refusal to accept himself as a toy drive the film's comic and emotional conflict.
