What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Sandhya is an educated, confident teacher whose relationship with Prem develops despite his initial shame about her size.
Prem and Sandhya marry through family arrangement but begin as an openly incompatible couple who must learn to live together.
The film situates its humor in Prem's tape shop, scooter rides, household life, and Haridwar family culture.
Prem's English-exam nightmares, discomfort with Sandhya, and inability to manage everyday situations drive both comic conflict and growth.
