Alongside Atreyu, he confronts fragmented memories of those lost, embodied by shifting landscapes and terrifying creatures born from forgotten wishes. This second journey differs from the first through an atmosphere of profound melancholy and a focus on the painful responsibilities of imagination, emphasizing how even saved worlds require constant nurturing, and how readily hope can fracture under the weight of disillusionment.
