May contain story progression spoilers
The filmmakers follow Sherpa workers and their response to the 2014 Everest disaster rather than presenting foreign climbers as the primary subjects.
The Khumbu Icefall and Mount Everest are filmed as vast, beautiful, and dangerously unstable environments.
The film examines the risks, wages, racial tensions, and safety responsibilities embedded in Everest's commercial climbing industry.
