What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Stanley is exiled to New York City because Gnorga assumes nothing green can grow there, yet his flower-making power transforms his Central Park refuge.
Queen Gnorga is explicitly mean-spirited and releases her mischief-making magic across New York City.
Stanley is banished from the Kingdom of Trolls to contemporary New York City and must adapt through friendship with Gus and Rosie.
The film places a flower-creating troll, a troll queen, and magical adventures against Central Park and the broader setting of New York City.
