What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Mr Wickers and the class generate repeated crude jokes and deliberately provocative comic situations during the final trip.
The students have completed their GCSEs and face a final shared experience before moving beyond comprehensive school life.
Alfie Wickers accompanies his class as an inept and socially inappropriate adult presence rather than a responsible mentor.
The film is explicitly based on a television series and turns the established school ensemble into a feature-length final trip.
