What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Five tales bleed into one another as travelers, situations, and victims recur across segments.
The desolate open road and surrounding desert town function as a recurring trap for travelers confronting terror and remorse.
The travelers confront their worst fears and darkest secrets, with terror tied directly to their pasts.
The segments operate as fragments, using loose ends and incomplete conclusions to make the overall horror more unnerving.
