What critics said
Critics broadly regarded the film as a formulaic B-movie weakened by slow pacing and an increasingly convoluted, implausible plot.
What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
The FBI investigation begins with bank robberies but increasingly points toward Hubert National Bank's influential CEO and concealed secrets.
The central mystery revolves around a powerful bank executive whose authority and hidden guilt shape the investigation.
The film combines orchestrated bank robberies, FBI agents, criminal suspects, and a conventional escalation of investigative revelations.
Sparse evidence appears to implicate Jeffrey Hubert, while the case is presented as more complicated than a straightforward robbery investigation.
