What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Selene is an elite Death Dealer and the film's central vampire warrior, played by Kate Beckinsale.
The film emphasizes leather-clad vampires, dark urban environments, firearms, and cologne-commercial production design.
The plot centers on the centuries-old rivalry between vampires and lycanthropes, including competing clans and bloodlines.
Selene's relationship with human doctor Michael Corvin conflicts with vampire protocol and the ongoing vampire-Lycan war.
