What critics said
Critics generally found a serviceable but conventional French crime thriller whose forceful action and cast could not fully overcome familiar revenge-film plotting.
What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Charly Matteï has spent three years living peacefully with his wife and children after leaving his outlaw past, but the shooting reopens that life.
Charly survives being shot 22 times and pursues those who left him for dead in Marseille.
The Old Port, underground parking facilities, cemeteries, and mafia networks make Marseille an active criminal landscape.
Charly’s devotion to his wife and two children conflicts with the demands and consequences of his former outlaw life.
