What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Koyomi Araragi's vampire condition drives the film's conflict and reshapes his relationship with Kiss-Shot.
SHAFT's animation and sound design emphasize gore, spectacle, eroticism, and emotional extremity.
Araragi's attempt to restore Kiss-Shot is inseparable from sacrifice, hunger, and dangerous dependence.
The film adapts NISIOISIN's light novel through SHAFT's highly stylized audiovisual language.
