What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Jai and Natasha/Linda come from different cultural contexts and communicate across English, Hindi, and Spanish-speaking environments.
Jai and Natasha become fugitives and move through chases, shootouts, and robberies while trying to remain together.
The film moves from desert survival and car chases to rain dancing, bank robbery, and grand romantic declarations with deliberate flamboyance.
The Mexican desert frames the wounded protagonist's survival quest and gives the love story a sun-blasted, physically perilous atmosphere.
