What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Miriam's life as a schoolteacher is invaded by an old man's sinister plans, while bugs, rabbits, and household spaces acquire ominous significance.
The murders and Moebius Kelly's designs connect Miriam to an organized Satan-worshipping cult.
The old man's arrival in Miriam's life after she nearly runs him over is explicitly presented as no accident.
The film's keywords and plot imagery emphasize bugs and rabbits within its disturbing occult atmosphere.
