What sets it apart
May contain story progression spoilers
Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw must cooperate despite their established hostility, making their reluctant alliance the film's central dynamic.
The film presents its action heroes and set pieces as extravagantly indestructible, matching its knowingly excessive blockbuster tone.
A cyber-genetically enhanced threat and biological weapon drive Hobbs and Shaw's mission to protect humanity.
The story incorporates Shaw family relationships and a broader family reunion into its spin-off narrative.
